The HP Micro Jazz is the smallest plectrum I make. It is as wide as it is long, and offers the closest contact, and most intimate feel of all of my plectrums. A truly unique playing experience.

These plectrums have been designed to require less effort in every stroke, allowing for greater speed and accuracy. The action from string to string requires less movement than traditional flat picks, and the comfortable contours really work with you to get the most out of your tone.

What’s so special about these plectrums? 

As many are finding, the specially designed contours feel like they’re holding you, just as you hold them. The best part is that they work for nearly all plectrum holding techniques. Whether you prefer a fingertip contact, well past the knuckle, or anywhere in between, this plectrum will work with you, not against you!

This plectrum is only available in my most durable materials, for outstanding wear resistance and long life. Ultem (polyetherimide) is an advanced engineering plastic with an interesting and diverse range of properties. It is hard, durable, and actually feels sticky to the touch. It has a very unique feeling as it passes over the string, somewhat akin to playing with horn or tortoise shell, and the grip is incredibly secure. It responds well to changes in pick attack, allowing for excellent control of dynamics. Note: Ultem can vary from batch to batch, between almost clear to deep amber.
