Scouting ahead and laying a deadly ambush for their party’s quarry, the Ranger brings a swift end to any chase! Whistling from out of the forest’s dark depths, the Ranger’s arrows strike true.
That’s why we thought the “Sharp” pick shape was a great match for the Ranger. It was a natural choice to have an arrow-shaped pick with our signature swoop modified to resemble the fletching, which remains unobtrusive in the player’s grip. Fans of the original inspiration for this shape will find this plectrum a welcome addition to their quiver.
Hand-cut, hand-shaped, hand-beveled and manually finished, there is no automation used in the construction of these musical tools. Chimaera Series picks are made from a hybrid of two or more materials including Tagua nuts, exotic woods, acrylics, epoxy resins and more to create a hard-wearing plectrum in a variety of thicknesses upwards of 4mm.
Choose from two finish options for both the grip surface and the bevel:
“Wraith Grip” is a matte finish that helps if the player has trouble keeping hold of a sweaty pick.
“Gemstone Grip” is a highly gloss polished finish that looks stunning and is more suited to players whose fingers tend to stay dry.
“Wraith Edge” is a matte bevel finish that has a very slightly muted chirp, whilst “Gemstone Edge” is highly gloss polished bevel. The sound difference is barely noticeable between the two but they give a good choice of aesthetic options for the player.
