Description
Striding the battlefield, clad in full plate armour with a Tower Shield and dealing out righteous justice, the Paladin is an imposing figure. Adding one to your party will instil fear in any opponent, and give you something solid to hide behind!
We thought the “Home Plate” shape resembled a Shield, and so created this Tower Shield-inspired pick. With a broad grip and tip, the Paladin fills the criteria that some have been asking us to consider for a while. By no means unwieldy, this plectrum shape is at home in any musical setting or playing style.
Chimaera Series picks are made from a hybrid of two or more materials including Tagua nuts, exotic woods, acrylics, epoxy resins and more to create a hard-wearing plectrum in a variety of thicknesses upwards of 4mm.
Choose from two finish options for both the grip surface and the bevel:
“Wraith Grip” is a matte finish that helps if the player has trouble keeping hold of a sweaty pick.
“Gemstone Grip” is a highly gloss polished finish that looks stunning and is more suited to players whose fingers tend to stay dry.
“Wraith Edge” is a matte bevel finish that has a very slightly muted chirp, whilst “Gemstone Edge” is highly gloss polished bevel. The sound difference is barely noticeable between the two but they give a good choice of aesthetic options for the player.
Hand-cut, hand-shaped, hand-beveled and manually finished, there is no automation used in the construction of these musical tools
